Hi, my name is Wendy and I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and substance use challenges. I also support people who are learning to set healthier boundaries, recovering from narcissistic abuse or codependency, or rebuilding confidence after difficult relationships or life experiences. I connect especially well with Veterans, older adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Many of the people I work with want to better understand why they think and feel the way they do. Together, we will explore patterns in your self-talk and the stories you carry about yourself. When we begin to look at those patterns with curiosity instead of judgment, it becomes easier to build emotional awareness, resilience, and new ways of responding to life’s challenges.

My approach is humanistic and client-centered, which means I see you as the expert on your own life. In our work together, my goal is to understand your experiences without judgment and work alongside you to find solutions that truly fit your values and goals. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused work, and inner child work to help you better understand yourself, build practical skills, and move toward meaningful change.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have spent more than two decades working in helping professions. My experience includes supporting individuals and families through recovery programs, domestic violence services, hospice and grief care, hospital social work, and community mental health. Across these settings, my focus has always been the same: meeting people where they are and helping them build the insight, skills, and confidence they need to move forward.

In our work together, we’ll clarify what you want to change or strengthen, notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and experiment with tools that support your goals. Therapy isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about staying curious, learning what works for you, and building a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
